The event’s bedrock foundation lies in the realization that Africa’s
economic success and growth does not rest in individuality but in collaborative
efforts and working together through exporting.
The relationship between export and economic growth is gaining momentum with methods being administered that prove how countries accelerate economic growth through increase in exports.
It is aimed at recognizing companies that have thrived and that have helped other companies prosper in exports despite challenges and hardships like the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event zeros into being a true testament of how countries with more open economies and export more will have opportunities to absorb the necessary technologies and innovations.
It is also targeted at awakening export potential within Southern Africa through AGOA which has over the years provided new market opportunities by eliminating barriers to US Trade and Investment and adoption of policies geared towards poverty reduction, protection of human rights, and suppression of corruption and protection of intellectual property rights.
